On Monday we went to the hall and listened to a talk from the Commonwealth Bank. They talked about the different kinds of money and also about the importance of saving money. The saying the kids learnt was, "Speed to your needs, wait for your wants." Mia got to act out a play as Rebecca Rainbow!

Today for sport Year One rotated around 6 different gymnastic activities. They rolled, balanced, climbed, jumped and even made human pyramids. Thank you to Amanda Reid for helping. It was lots of fun and we look forward to doing it again next week.
We had a lovely time on Tuesday visiting the Courthouse Museum in Batemans Bay. The students really enjoyed seeing the many exhibitions of things from years gone by. If you get a chance to visit the museum, it really is impressive. We also enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk at the water gardens and a play at the playground. A big thank you to our parent helpers on the day. It was a lovely cool day for the walkathon on October 23. It was great to have so many parents and grandparents join us on the walk and to watch us sing 'Gold' altogether as a school. Don't forget to return your walkathon money this week to go into Thursday's prize draw. |
